3/24 Wings at Ducks Game Day Updates

Damien Brunner will be a healthy scratch tonight for the first time as a Red Wing, no news as to why he's a scratch. He hasn't scored in his last 12 games and he's in a bit of a slump.

Jordin Tootoo will return to the lineup in place of Brunner. Tootoo was a healthy scratch Friday against the Ducks in favor or Patrick Eaves.

Carlo Colaiacovo has been taken off injured reserve but will not play yet. Babcock said he will have to earn his place in the lineup, he won't just be given a spot. I'm not sure how a player come off IR and earns a spot, but we'll see what happens when he's ready to play.

Samuelsson is also ready to come off IR and will most likely be ready to play next Sunday.

Zetterberg will play in his 700th career game tonight, becoming the 19th player in Wings history to do so.
